His research seeks to identify and compare the social representations and practices of the web radio consumption, audio podcast, as well as traditional radio in youngsters. This way, the core and the peripheral system, Abric (1994), were identified in the three media. Exploratory sequential mixed method design where the qualitative phase proposes a phenomenological approach. Interviews and focus groups were applied in depth. The quantitative phase was non-experimental descriptive. The survey used a likert scale and a free word association methodology. The general results show distancing in the social representations. The podcast is associated to research and education, the web radio to entertainment, and the traditional radio to information. The narrative dimension, as the axis of inquiry, was the one that showed the greatest distancing in multidimensional scaling, being the narrative aspect a vital part for the consolidation of the central nucleus in the social representation for all the media.
