Entrenamiento en habilidades interpersonales en niños Colombianos con Síndrome de Asperger

Several studies indicate that training in interpersonal skills, develop better social interactions and in turn, decreases the likelihood of emotional difficulties and behavioral alterations such as self or hetero-aggression, associated with the deficit of interactions or failure in them. On the other hand, it is found that in the country, the interventional studies that support the impact of such training on social interactions are very few, limited to descriptive methodologies, correlations and theoretical revisions. The objective of this study is to determine the effect of Interpersonal Skills training on children with Colombian Asperger syndrome. This project refers to 24 children with Asperger syndrome (between 7 and 15 years old). Quasi-experimental design with pre-posttest measures and control group on the waiting list. After the intervention in interpersonal skills, children with SA (Asperger syndrome) of the experimental group showed statistically significant differences in the levels of Interpersonal Conflict Resolution and Adaptation Skills.
