At the beginning of the class, the goal of the class is shared and justified to the students based on the process of achievement, on the other hand, the purpose or contents of the class are contextualized based on the previous knowledge of the students, then, the tasks previously assigned to the students are reviewed and feedback is given, finally, there is a space to review that the necessary implements are available. Some criteria related to the development of the classes are: if they are worked by problem situations, those that are presented to the students should allow them to conceptualize the mathematical object; support the structuring of the mathematical object with didactic resources such as, graphs, schemes, ideograms or audiovisual resources. On the other hand, to present in a strategic and operative way the algorithm, that is to say, it makes metacognition about the reasons of the algorithm. Finally, we must be aware of the main mistakes that can be made when using the algorithm. In order to close the class, it is indispensable to make a synthesis of the learning achieved, in addition, to guide the students through questions of metacognitive character so that they identify their new learning, then, if tasks are assigned, explain their purpose and process making sure that the students have prerequisites to do it autonomously. Finally, check if the purpose of the class was achieved.
