Relación entre el uso de métodos anticonceptivos hormonales y el funcionamiento sexual en una muestra de mujeres Colombianas sexualmente activas

This research observed the relationship between the use of hormonal contraceptive methods and female sexual functioning, whose target population are sexually active Colombian women between the ages of 18 and 35, who plan with hormonal methods (pills, injection and subdermal), barrier and natural; with the application of an empirical, transversal, non-experimental, correlational and prospective research design, it had an N = 820 women; the data were collected through a sociodemographic questionnaire, the IDS, MGH-SFQ and FSFI, to be later analyzed through the SPSS statistical software, to end with a descriptive analysis of variables, Pearson correlations and multiple correlations. The research results indicated a significant correlation between the use of hormonal contraceptive methods and the involvement in female sexual functioning.
