The main objective of this study was to carry out a systematic review of the literature regarding protocols, interventions and/or activities based on metacognitive skills or metacognition as an intervention strategy in people with different levels of cognitive disability or cognitive impairment. Twenty articles from the years 1998-2020 were reviewed and it was found that the development of intervention activities through metacognitive strategies in a population with cognitive impairment and cognitive disability improves cognitive, metacognitive, academic and social development processes; However, there is not a large body of publications on this subject, making it difficult to determine the effect that interventions based on metacognitive skills have on the performance in different areas of people diagnosed with cognitive disabilities or cognitive impairment

This study describes content validity indicators for the Adjusted Guide for Interview proposed by Cañas (2016) based on evaluation from expert judges to complete the HCR-20 which measures risk for violent behavior. It was a two-phased instrumental investigation with mixed design with four participants (two per phase) selected for convenience. The first phase concludes with the adjusted Interview Guide, while the second phase indicates the level of agreement between the expert judges when using the adjusted Interview Guide to complete the HCR-20. The statistical analysis established significance in all cases and the qualitative analysis of item concordance showed the predominance of total and partial agreement from the expert judges. These results indicate that the adjusted interview guide has measures of content validity for use in the application of the HCR-20, but not enough given the limitations that were found.
