The present study sought to determine the effects of the commission period of the military guys on the psychological well-being and general health of his wives who lived with them. It is a non-experimental quantitative research of a prospective longitudinal type of a single cohort. An intentional simple of women was used, their psychological wellbeing and general health was measured specifically when the military was on commission and when they returned home; for the above purpose, the Ryff Psychological Wellbeing Scale and the General Health Questionnaire GHQ-12 were applied. For the fulfillment of the objectives, the data obtained were analyzed in the statistical program SPSS version 23. Significant changes were found in the general health between the first and second application. No significant differences were found in both measures of psychological well-being, but if it was found a correlation between the first applications of both scales.
