Balanza de pagos

The current account records our exports and imports of goods and services, income and expenses from factor income (primary income) and current transfers (secondary income). The financial account, which has the same sign as the current account, records the sources of external financing (if there is a current deficit) or the ability to grant resources to the rest of the world (if there is a current surplus). Financial flows are broken down into direct investment, portfolio investment and other investment (loans, commercial credits and other financial movements) and the variation in international reserves.
