Innovation is today the path most used by companies to respond to the highly competitive and dynamic environment in which companies compete. Thus, they seek to break through through a process of constant adaptation and always attentive to any changes in the market. A new type of consumer characterized by having a marked environmental awareness arises and with it a new production system arises, with a view to a self-sustainable production system, but at the same time, it has generated a growing interest in better understanding its behavior.
Objective: To carry out a systematic review of scientific articles published in indexed journals that explore cross-modal attributes in promoting sustainable articles.
Methodology: The literature search for the systematic review was established in the following databases and metasearch engines: Pubmed, Oxford Journals, Redylac, Science Direct, Scopus, EBSCO and Google Scholar. Considering the specialty of the subject, it was contemplated to make use of the snowball strategy in the search and achievement of articles.
Results: According to the search parameters, a first group of 1,625 scientific articles that after following the inclusion and exclusion criteria were reduced to 9 investigations.
Conclusion: It is established that there is a crossmodal correspondence in the different modalities and the impact that is generated especially in sustainable products.
