A function can be classified in three ways: Injective function, Overjective function and Bijective function. A function f of A in B is called injective if different numbers of the domain correspond respectively to different images in the codomain, i.e. that elements of A cannot reach the same element in B. If you want to know if the graphic is an injective function you must draw a horizontal line and if it touches a single point it is injective but if it touches two or more points of the function it is NOT injectic. A function f of A in B is called sobreyectiva whenever all the elements of the codominium are image of at least one element of the domain, i.e. a function is sobreyectiva if the range is equal to the codominium. Graphically you can know that a function is overjective if you draw a horizontal line and it does not touch the function at some point on the y-axis. A function f of A in B is called bijective as long as it is injective and overjective, these functions are also called one by one.
