Estilos de vida y prácticas de consumo de las personas que se consideran solteras de la ciudad de Bogotá.

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to identify the lifestyle of people who are considered single in the city of Bogotá, from the Behavioral Current that is based on the study of consumption activities, interests, opinions and practices. The study was carried out following the method of mixed research through a sequential exploratory design derived in two phases. In the first phase, interviews were carried out with singles, their parents and friends. In the second phase, a questionnaire was constructed based on the results of phase one and a descriptive analysis and two-stage segmentation was carried out, resulting in three segments of single people, the non-conforming, the egotists and the conservatives. The variables that contributed most to segment singles were opinions that are related to the way in which individuals see themselves, what they think about social and political issues among others.

El principal objetivo de este estudio fue identificar el estilo de vida de las personas que se consideran solteras de la ciudad de Bogotá, desde la corriente Comportamental que se basa en el estudio de las actividades, intereses opiniones y prácticas del consumo. El estudio se llevó a cabo siguiendo el método de investigación mixta a través de un diseño exploratorio secuencial derivativo en dos fases. En la primera fase se realizaron entrevistas a los solteros, sus padres y amigos. En la segunda fase se construyó un cuestionario a partir de los resultados de la fase uno y se llevó a cabo un análisis descriptivo y una segmentación bietápica de la que resultaron tres segmentos de solteros, los inconformes, los ególatras y los conservadores. Las variables que más aportaron para segmentar a los solteros fueron las opiniones que están relacionadas con la forma en qué los individuos se ven a sí mismos, lo que piensan acerca de temas sociales y políticos entre otros.
