Abstract

Este recurso educativo habla acerca del positivismo lógico como una corriente en la filosofía de la ciencia que limita la validez del método científico a lo empírico y verificable. Asimismo presenta la historia del circulo de Viena sus antecedentes, la tradición empiricista y logicista así como también expone la estructura de las teorías científicas, el fiscalismo y finalmente el ocaso del positivismo lógico.

This educational resource speaks about logical positivism as a current in the philosophy of science that limits the validity of the scientific method to the empirical and verifiable. It also presents the history of the Vienna circle with its antecedents, the empiricist and logicist tradition, as well as the structure of scientific theories, taxation and finally the decline of logical positivism.
