Abstract

La aparición definitiva de la modificación de conducta marca la transición entre el trabajo experimental en el laboratorio sobre el aprendizaje al contexto clínico. De lo anterior podemos deducir cuatro componentes principales el primero, los trabajos relacionados con neurosis experimental, el segundo, las primeras aplicaciones del condicionamiento en la conducta humana, la tercera la relación existente entre el condicionamiento de la conducta verbal y los procesos que ocurren en la psicoterapia, y por último el desarrollo de la modificación de la conducta en su mayoría en Estados Unidos, Inglaterra y Sudáfrica.
