Los trastornos de personalidad son patrones de percepción que perduran en el tiempo que se pueden manifestar en ámbitos sociales y personales de la vida del paciente y que con el tiempo causan deterioro funcional y angustia subjetiva. Existen tres tipos de trastornos el primero excéntricos y extraños, aquí pertenecen el paranoide, esquizoide y esquizotipico. El segundo grupo los dramáticos, están compuestos por antisocial, limítrofe, narcisista e histriónico y el tercer grupo los evitativos pertenecen los de evitación, dependencia y obsesivo – compulsivo. Personality disorders are patterns of perception that persist over time that can manifest in the social and personal areas of the patient’s life and that over time cause functional impairment and subjective distress. There are three types of disorders the first eccentric and strange, here belong paranoid, schizoid and schizotypic. The second group, the dramatic ones, are composed by antisocial, borderline, narcissistic and histrionic and the third group, the avoidant, dependent and obsessive - compulsive.
