Abstract

Este recurso educativo habla acerca de los axiomas de Peano y la construcción del conjunto de los números naturales. Los axiomas de Peano no se ocupan del significado de "número natural", sino que lo suponen y pretenden encontrar un sistema simple de axiomas que caractericen los números naturales y nos permitan deducir a partir de estos, todas las propiedades de los números naturales, utilizando las reglas de la lógica. Asimismo presenta los supuestos que son la categoría de conjuntos y la lógica elemental y da unos ejemplos para entender mejor el concepto.

This educational resource talks about Peano’s axioms and the construction of the set of natural numbers. Peano’s axioms do not deal with the meaning of "natural number", but assume it and seek to find a simple system of axioms that characterize natural numbers and allow us to deduce from these, all the properties of natural numbers, using the rules of logic. It also presents the assumptions that are the category of sets and elementary logic and gives some examples to better understand the concept.
