Sensation is what a person experiences from the stimuli they receive through the senses: taste, touch, smell, hearing and sight. Perception, on the other hand, implies the registration and recognition of physical reality through the organization of these sensations.
The idea of perception, in this way, is associated with the process that allows the capture of physical stimuli and their interpretation via brain activity.
