Aproximación a la validación de contenido del test de alfabetización económica tae para población Colombiana.

Abstract

People have easy access to financial products without any proper knowledge about them. Ten years ago, Colombian government issued a law to encourage the financial education in the country; private and public sectors` efforts have been proven insufficient if the poverty and debt indicators are analyzed and furthermore, the lack of indicators to measure the financial and economic education across the population. The objective of this investigation is to validate the Chilean test of Economic Literacy TAE-27 (from its Spanish name: Test de Alfabetización Económica) to the Colombian reality using structured interviews with seven experts and ten cognitive assessments performed to young participants in Bogotá. The investigation will present a tool applicable for Colombia and it´s economic context to be used in future studies to measure the economic literacy in a society that needs development and better management of its economic education.

Las personas tienen facilidad de adquirir productos financieros sin el conocimiento pertinente. En Colombia existe una legislación en vigencia desde hace 10 años que exige educación financiera y a pesar de algunos esfuerzos de entidades públicas y privadas, se evidencia que no son suficientes si se observan los índices de pobreza y endeudamiento, como también la falta de instrumentos que midan educación económica y financiera. El objetivo de esta investigación es validar el instrumento Test de Alfabetización Económica (TAE-27) chileno al contexto colombiano por medio de la validación de contenido a través de entrevistas estructuradas a 7 Jueces expertos y validación cognitiva a10 participantes jóvenes de la ciudad de Bogotá, permitiendo presentar un instrumento con la aplicabilidad en Colombia y que en próximas investigaciones, permita medir el desempeño en alfabetización económica en una sociedad que necesita crecer y gestionar mejor su educación financiera.
