Abstract

Anteriormente se aceptaba la postura del Determinismo genético, el cual afirmaba que todo comportamiento y característica física estaba mediado por la herencia genética. Sin embargo, recientemente esta postura ha sido apartada para aceptar la relevancia que tiene la interacción del medio ambiente junto a los genes, para el desarrollo del comportamiento humano, siendo esto sustentado a partir de la epigenética.

Previously, the position of Genetic Determinism was accepted, which affirmed that all behavior and physical characteristics were mediated by genetic inheritance. However, recently this position has been pushed aside to accept the relevance of the interaction of the environment with genes for the development of human behavior, this being supported by epigenetics.
